Sandra has worked in the home staging industry as a designer/stager since 2007. Prior to her home staging profession

Sandra had a successful 11 year career in the film and video industry in the Seattle area as a Production Coordinator and Assistant Director on countless television, commercial, corporate, and independent feature films.

In 1990 Sandra received her Associate of Arts Degree in Applied Video Communications from Seattle Central Community College.

Sandra’s unique interest with TAG is to utilize her love of dance to promote fund raising efforts for domestic violence organizations and to work with the media to help TAG plant seeds of social awareness through the production of Public Service Announcements, documentaries, and training videos.

In 2010 Sandra produced Thrivers Action Group’s annual fundraising event Dance Against Domestic Abuse, DaDa. A yearly event raising charitable donations for TAG and celebrating the thriving lives of domestic violence survivors.

Why I joined TAG,

In 2006, after receiving support from New Beginnings, I focused my interests to social change and became a founding member of Thrivers Action Group. Through sharing my story I hope to bring awareness to the myriad of misconceptions that surrounds Domestic Violence. I am passionate about getting the message to our community that DV survivors are not to be blamed or shamed.
